Does these help?
P1: [Auto]
P2: [Auto]

tCL (CAS Latency): 7
tRCD: 7
tRP: 6
tRAS: 18
Command Per Clock: 2T

Advanced Memory Settings

tRRD: 6
tRC: 32
tWR: 10
tWTR: 22
tFAW: 24
tRD: 9
tRTP: 8
tRFC: 65
tREF: [Auto] -> 7,8uS

I really don't see where the error could be, 1T normally works great on 790i boards, but if thats the error, I don't see what else could be the problem.

Yep. Those seem to work. Got a boot. Testing now.

How much of a performance hit is it between 1T and 2T ?

Maybe enabling P1 and P2 could help?

Prime blend stable for 2 mins now lol ... :)

Well ddr3 is rated at 2T, but I have never seen our XP3 line not do 1T on a 790i board, this is a first for me.
Performance hit shouldn't be large.

When you enable P1/P2 , much more NB voltage (upto +0.1 more then before) will be needed for stability.

Ok.

1) Why is it better to run at the setting you sent me than on Auto? What would (in short) be the difference? As far as I know, the lower the values the better, and the MB sems to auto calculate values (on average) of about the same tightness as the ones you've given me (some higher some lower values) Are (should?) the settings you supplied more accurate / stable?

2) Ok ... exactly what am I loosin with 2T? Is this RMA material or a minor glitch that could be fixed with a future BIOS update?

3) Can enabling P1 and P2 influence the boot chances with 1T / 2T command rate?

4) How much of a memory boost do P1 and P2 offer?

P.S.-Prime Blend stable for 12 mins at the settings you last provided.

1. Much improve timings, better performance, they can actually go lower, but those would work for sure(normally) with the exception of 1T anyway.
2. The command per clock, instead of 1 command per clock, its 1 command per 2 clock
3. Yes , it could make it more difficult to boot, due to its additional performance gains, it requires more NB voltage.
4. Nice added performance gains

I have decided to stick with these settings. It all works perfectly set at 2T and has been rock solid in Prime Blend for 8 hours. Thank you for your extra kind and fast support. I will certainly spread the word on Mushkins' lighning fast and reliable customer support.

Thanks again and all the best.
